alory_shannon: Rise from P4 fangirling, most likely over her senpai. & who can blame her, he's a badass, & a silver fox to boot. (So quick to fall in love with anything;)

YES, YES I DO

~

AND IT IS ENTIRELY DUE TO THE NEW SPIDER-MAN MOVIE

OMG OMG THE FIGHT SCENES WERE BEAUTIFUL

AND ANDREW GARFIELD IS ADORABLE

AND ADORKABLE

AND FIFTY THOUSAND TIMES HOTTER THAN TOBEY MAGUIRE YES I CAN SAY THAT WITHOUT FEELING WEIRD 'CAUSE EVEN THOUGH HE WAS PLAYING A HIGHSCHOOLER HE IS ACTUALLY TWO YEARS OLDER THAN I AM SO HE IS TTLY WITHIN THE REASONABLE CRUSH AGE-RANGE™

I mean, I need more time to process it all and I know it wasn't a PERFECT movie because there was no J.J. Jameson in it which was an EPIC sadfais for me since he was, like...my VERY FAVOURITE PART of the other three Spidey movies but I really, really liked it a lot and cannot WAIT to go again with my dad and/or mom and maybe some coworkers from the library

GO SEE IT, PHASE

GO

GO NOW

YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

SOOOOO COOL, SPIDEY-SAN!!!

Still in Charlotte, NC, sillypants! I have a full-time library job now, so that's not likely to be changing any time soon, unless...something bad happens, heh...

IT WAS GOOD, I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE IT. 8D The only thing was...I felt like I wanted something more all throughout it, and the feeling was bothering me...so I read a few reviews when I got home, and I finally figured out what that niggling feeling was. It was the fact that this movie...was the Spidey origin story again. I mean, it had to be for several reasons, and certain key things were changed from the other movies, so I understood the need for it, but subconsciously I didn't really want to see Peter learning to be Spidey, I wanted to see him BEING Spidey. And now that I know what was bugging me about it, I think I'll enjoy it more when I see it a second time. :]

I WANT TO SEE THAT but since Spiderman 3 was so bad all my friends are unenthusiastic about it :( SAD.

Aww, but it's a reboot so it's a TOTALLY new animal. D: No more goofy Tobey Maguire dancing down the street like a doof, etc. (There was a little bit of almost LITERAL narm (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Narm) though, since...it's the Lizard and Dr. Connors is an amputee and...lol I'm sure you can follow...)

Fffff I need a movie buddy, you need a movie buddy, WHY IS UTAH SO FAR AWAY. 8[ I mean, my brother and dad are my only real movie buddies around here, at least when it comes to anything sci-fi/fantasy (i.e. ANYTHING GOOD), and even then they don't always want to go see the things I want to see. :[ My brother was REALLY unenthusiastic about going to this one, at least to the midnight showing, all meeeeeh iunno if I wanna go...mmmmnnn iunnooooo but I was finally just like, "Kid, it's a free movie for you, are you freakin' kiddin' me?" 'B| And seen that way, he relented and went along fairly willingly, lol.

TL;DR I HOPE YOU CONVINCE YOUR FRIENDS AND GET TO GO it was quite fun and I want to see it againnnnnn <3

Yeah come on move closer :| haha. I know it's a reboot, but I think this is a similar scenario to the X-men films, where two in a row were exceptionally bad and then everyone (myself included) was wary about seeing First Class (though it turned out to be really good). They're just like NO SPIDERMAN YOU'VE HURT ME TOO MANY TIMES.

I'm so glad my roommate last academic year was into horror movies, because that was the one genre I always had the most trouble getting a movie buddy for. None of my other friends like horror movies, and the only person in my family that likes them is my sister who would obviously rather see them with a friend. :( And yeah, the "free movies" thing is why I so often go see movies with my mom. LOL

I'M SURE I'LL FIND SOMEONE...SIGH
